Description: Called "Rancho del Cielo" or "Ranch in the Sky" by the Reagans, this California ranch served as a retreat for President Reagan for over twenty-five years. The ranch is where President Reagan went to "recharge his batteries" and deliberate over the many decisions of his career and presidency. He also spent hours there engaging in such activities as clearing brush, chopping wood, and trail riding. Since the spring of 1998, the ranch has been preserved by the Young America's Foundation, a conservative organization serving high school and college students.
