Description: Truman's birthplace is a small 6-room farmhouse. Soon after Harry S. Truman's birth, the family moved to Belton, Missouri. The house was purchased in 1957 by the United Auto Workers who had it restored and presented it to the State of Missouri as an Historic Site. Open to the public.
