Description: There is a Daughters of the American Revolution marker at McKamie Farmhouse which the State of North Carolina believes is the true birth place of Andrew Jackson. The Farmhouse was owned by his uncle and is a few miles from the other disputed site the Crawford Cabin which is located across the state border in the Andrew Jackson State Park in the Waxhaw region of South Carolina.

Address: On State Route 75 in Waxhaw, Union County, North Carolina about 2-3 miles from the Museum of Waxhaws.
