Description: Montpelier is located four miles south of Orange Virginia. The mansion is undergoing extensive investigation and renovation. Montpelier is owned and operated by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and is open to the public.

Hours of Operation: April through November: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. The main house closes at 5:00 p.m. and the last shuttle pick-up is at 5:30 p.m. December through March: 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. The main house closes at 4:00 p.m. and the last shuttle pick-up is at 4:30 pm. There is an admission fee.
